Go to a salon. I am a hairdresser. I wouldn't tell all of my clients to use box color, but there is some exception when going darker. But going lighter, pay the extra money. You are not going to get anything platinum or even decently blonde from a box. If you do not want to have any hair left or severely broken hair use peroxide or laundry bleach. There is no way around it. I saw a comment about going to a cosmetology school. That is a good idea but research it. Not all schools are that great (well not in my area) Usually in that sense, you are going to get what you pay for. Spend the extra money and professionally get it done Thanks!
