will using light butter cause a cake not to rise?
i attempted to make a pound cake and used light butter by mistake, also i used a bunt cake pan. i didn't realize i could have made 2 cakes from one batch so the cake overflowed quite a bit. would this have caused the cake to fall or the light butter i used? i hate to waste all the ingredients attemptin to make another one and the same thing happen. any idea's would help, thanks.
The cake should still rise... should.. it worked on me. Depends on where you live.. (has to do with altitude, gravity and w/e)
