Is it safe to use my expired Rembrandt 2-hour-whitening trays?
I bought this Rembrandt 2-hour-whitening tray kit last year and used it once. Kinda hated it. But, I decided I want to have a go at it again, but I just looked at the tubes that hold the peroxide and they expired October of 2008. Is it okay to use these still? Will they harm my teeth? Anything? I won't use them until I know.
You will be fine to use them. Expiration dates on things like that mean nothing. They will not hurt you in any way. They may however lose some of their strength.
This happens to be the case for almost all medications. If you don't believe me, ask a pharmacists. (I have)
Also, companies put expiration dates on things to get you to throw away a product and go buy more.....It is a simple money making scheme.
